The locks should cycle once to verify that the car has accepted your remote. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the new remote simultaneously for 1 1 2 seconds. If you are programming multiple remotes repeat step 8 for each remote within 40 seconds of step 7. Insert the ignition key and remove it.

Then press the lock button for up to three seconds and release. To program the new toyota key fob hold the unlock and lock button on the key fob for two seconds and then release. If they cycle twice repeat this step again. Close and then open the driver s side door.

Using the door control pad located on the driver s side door press the lock and unlock buttons for five passes. Within 10 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming. You should hear a beep letting you know that the procedure was done correctly. Within 5 seconds insert the ignition key again and turn it to the on position.

Each set represents one pass. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press and hold the lock button by itself. Immediately after letting go of the lock and unlock buttons press the lock button by itself and hold for 2 seconds. Within 3 seconds the door locks should lock and then unlock once indicating successful programming.

Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remote simultaneously for 1 5 seconds. Press and hold lock and unlock button for 1 5 seconds. Press the lock and unlock buttons on the remtoe simutaneously for 1 5 seconds. Press and release lock or unlock button.

After 10 seconds push the same lock unlock or panic button on the transmitter twice within 10 seconds. With the driver s side door open. Release the buttons and immediately press and hold the lock button for two seconds. The door should lock and unlock.

Unlock the driver s side door. Once your car is in programming mode with the remote you are trying to program press the unlock and lock buttons simultaneously for about 2 seconds then release and press just the lock button for 1 second. System should now lock and unlock vehicle once to confirm registration twice to indicate registration has failed.
